Enrolling for the 2025-2026 school year? Families interested in enrolling in Lakeville Online Academy can learn more about the enrollment process at isd194.org/lakeville-online/enroll or by emailing the Lakeville Online Academy team at lakevilleonline@isd194.org.

Please see information about how to enroll in our online school on this page. Lakeville Online Academy is for students who live anywhere in Minnesota.

Lakeville Online Academy has been serving the online needs of our Lakeville area students as well as students around the state of Minnesota since 2013. Students outside of ISD194 and anywhere in Minnesota can attend Lakeville Online Academy for free.

Enrollment for families who DO NOT currently attend school in District 194

Lakeville Online Academy offers full-time and part-time enrollment options for students across Minnesota. Please refer to the enrollment dates above.

Families interested in enrolling in Lakeville Online Academy can learn more by emailing the LOA team at lakevilleonline@isd194.org.

Step 1: Submit Open Enrollment Application

Open Enrollment Application for K-12 and Early Childhood Special Education

Step 2: Return Completed Application

Step 3: Receive Enrollment Decision

On the announcement date, you will receive an email indicating whether your application has been approved, forwarded to the next application window, or denied.

Approved Students: After you've received approval for Open Enrollment, you must complete Lakeville Area Schools' enrollment process by the enrollment deadline. Go to the Enroll webpage and begin on Step 2. If you do not complete the enrollment process by the enrollment deadline, you will have to reapply for the next window.

Step 4: Complete Online Enrollment

For CURRENT Lakeville Area Schools Families Seeking an Online Learning option:

Lakeville Online Academy enrollment is currently open for Spring Semester.

*Note: Families who are currently enrolled in LOA will remain enrolled through the end of the school year.

How to Enroll

Students Interested in Part Time Classes

Please schedule a time to talk to your students Assistant Principal or Counselor to talk about the steps to get enrolled in Lakeville Online Academy.

Students Interested in Full Time Enrollment

Please reach out to our main office at 952-232-3900 to talk next steps in the enrollment process.

Note: You do not need to complete the online enrollment process through Infinite Campus.

Educational Benefits

Families who qualify are encouraged to complete the Application for Educational Benefits. Although we don’t provide lunch for students because they are at home, if qualified, students can receive reduced rates for participating in other school-related sports and activities that have a fee.

Part-Time Enrollment

ISD194 Students who are interested in enrolling in Lakeville Online Academy part-time, please:

Reach out to your counselor at your school to talk about your schedule and the possibility of taking some online classes.
- This meeting is crucial in seeing if online is the best option for you.
